Start a recording before setting out and let DuneTraq capture your route. The recording view brings speed, distance and elevation together on a 3D map. It gives your saved trip a measured record, whether you are driving with a crew or reviewing a day in the dunes afterwards. Set up the app while parked and keep your attention on driving.
Trip recording can continue offline, and an interrupted recording can be recovered. Offline recording describes saving your own drive; it does not mean every map or connected feature is available without a connection. Live Convoy needs internet to exchange positions, so an offline recording cannot supply fresh locations from the rest of your crew.
Open a saved drive to review its route, elevation, moving time and peak G. DuneTraq separates Desert km and Desert Climb from road-driving context for rankings. Your journey to the meeting point and your eligible desert contribution are different measures. Add your trip photos and create a Share Card when you want to tell the crew about the drive.

Yes. DuneTraq is built for UAE off-road drivers and records your route and driving statistics. It records the drive you take; a recording is not a statement that a route is permitted or suitable for your vehicle.
You can record your own trip offline. Live Convoy needs an internet connection to exchange driver positions. Offline recording does not guarantee offline map availability or live updates from other drivers.
No. This feature records your drive and lets you review it afterwards. It does not promise turn-by-turn route guidance or a recommended path through the dunes.
DuneTraq is free to download for iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or later. Android is available through a closed beta; use the Android beta page to request access with your Google Play account email.
